We will continue to learn and use the shamanic wheels and keys, exploring aspects of our human consciousness and learning Warrior Techniques of Disciplines.
We will continue our ceremonial path with the Flowering Tree ceremonies, the SunDance Vow Ceremony and the second Rainbow Shield Sweat for our Inner Pipe which will be led by John 'Grey Swan'. ​​
Studying Shamanism at EagleHeart
The Sweet Medicine SunDance Path is a shamanic spiritual path of self-growth through teachings, ceremony and experiences. These come through a lineage of sacred knowledge of universal laws, ceremonial alchemy, healing techniques. Like other mystery schools (e.g. Sufi, Druidic and Celtic, Tibetan), these teachings have evolved over thousands of years.
The First Gateway of this shamanic path is designed to allow the seeker to discover their path with heart and explore the worlds of Grandmother Earth. It is an introduction to the "Great Work", the inner journey to heal oneself and find the warrior within.
The EagleHeart Study Group Lodge offers an ongoing First Gateway programme (study days, weekends and camps). This is led by Clare "Golden Willow" with the support of Jane "Shining Jewel Tree" and our teachers Elaine "Cat Moon" and Pete "Black Agate" from the Centre for Shamanic Arts.
